Dr. Timothy Miller is originally from California, and has trained all over the United States at elite institutions to become a top Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and received his medical degree from The University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He completed residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in Greenville South Carolina at the Greenville Health System.  His Foot & Ankle fellowship was completed at Harvard Medical School & Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Miller's Training and
Treatment Philosophy

Dr. Timothy Miller is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in injuries and conditions of the lower leg. His fellowship at Harvard allowed him to train with experts in the field of Foot & Ankle surgery. He offers the latest and most advanced techniques in both operative and nonoperative care of all conditions below the knee.


He is also highly trained in treating orthopaedic problems of all types, including both upper and lower extremities, and in adults and children. He has extensive experience treating trauma and fractures and has trained at some of the largest trauma centers in the country including Los Angeles County Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

He is originally from California, and has trained all over the country, including California, Utah, South Carolina, and Massachusetts. Dr Miller also served on the staff at Harvard Medical School as an Assistant in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr Miller has extensive experience treating athletes and athletic injuries. While at Massachusetts General Hospital, he worked and trained with the team physicians for the New England Patriots (NFL), Boston Red Sox (MLB), Boston Bruins (NHL), and the New England Revolution (MLS). While Dr Miller has treated professional athletes in many sports, he enjoys treating aspiring athletes and weekend warriors as well.

Dr. Miller believes that whenever possible, musculoskeletal problems should be treated non-surgically. He employs the most up to date methods to treat and manage foot and ankle problems, and constantly stays on the cutting edge of research and innovation in the field of foot and ankle orthopedics. When non-surgical methods are not successful, Dr Miller provides the most advanced surgical techniques to all problems, including minimally invasive techniques whenever possible.
